Dish 1: Bamboo shoots stir-fried with beef
Ingredients:
- Beef: 300g.
- Bamboo shoots: 500g.
- Pepper, seasoning powder, cooking oil, garlic
How to make:
Step 1: Drain and wash the Yen Tu bamboo shoots. Blanch in boiling water, remove and drain, divide into bite-sized pieces
Step 2: Peel the garlic, then crush it.
Step 3: Wash the beef. Then slice thinly and marinate with spices including: oyster sauce, cooking oil, garlic, and salt. Mix well and marinate for about 30 minutes.
Step 4: Put the pan on the stove, wait for the pan to heat up, add cooking oil. Next, add garlic and saute until fragrant. Then add the marinated beef and bamboo shoots and stir well. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes, when the bamboo shoots and meat are cooked, turn off the stove and put on a plate to enjoy. Do not overcook, the beef will be tough and the bamboo shoots will lose their crispness
Dish 2: Yen Tu bamboo shoots stir-fried with mushrooms
Ingredients:
- Bamboo shoots: 500g.
- Shiitake mushrooms: 300g.
- Coriander, 1 red chili, cooking oil and spices
How to make:
Step 1: Bamboo shoots have been pre-processed in the bag, poured into a basket and rinsed with cold water, large bamboo shoots should be split in half so that when stir-fried, the bamboo shoots will absorb the spices better, then blanch in boiling water and pour into a basket to drain.
Step 2: Soak the shiitake mushrooms, cut off the stems and then cut in half; slice the chili, cut the coriander into pieces.
Step 3: Fry the onions until fragrant, then add the bamboo shoots, season to taste, stir-fry and add a little water to absorb the spices. When the bamboo shoots are 90% cooked, add the shiitake mushrooms, coriander and chili and stir well. Then remove from heat and add a little cooking oil to make them shiny.
